JACKFRUIT

Jackfruit is the largest tree fruit in the world, can weigh up to 80 pounds, and is the source of a versatile plant-based meat substitute when unripe. Beyond its fruit, the tree provides timber, medicinal compounds, and its seeds are edible and nutritious. It is also a "multiple fruit," formed from many coalesced flowers, a relationship it shares with breadfruit and figs.
